"A few hundred meters from the ice floe edge in the Canadian High-Arctic, a naturally formed ice sculpture slowly dissolves in the springtime sun. This region is changing rapidly with sea ice declining at an alarming rate, resulting in substantial impacts to humans and wildlife. To me, this photo represents the ephemeral quality of nature which, sadly, is being accelerated by both human action and inaction."
